for the design and manufacture of tooling for the manufacture
of transmission components.
FSG Tool & Die Ltd works closely as an integrated supplier
with many of the major manufacturers of automotive transmissions
in Europe.
Tool design is via the latest integrated 3D software, downloaded
into automated EDM and High Speed
Machining manufacturing processes. To facilitate rapid response
manufacturing all processes are
utilised on a 24/7 basis with in-line inspection.

closely with FSG to localise the manufacture of forge
dies and other forging equipment from Japan to Wales.
This has resulted in the lead-time being reduced from
12 weeks to less than 4 weeks, giving us greater flexibility
when planning our forge production and also allowing us
to keep a reduced safety stock.

with this, both Musashi and FSG are working together
to improve the material used in the die manufacture,
