Toolmaker – Full-time

This is a full-time on-site role for a Toolmaker at FSG TOOL & DIE LIMITED in Llantrisant. The Toolmaker will be responsible for creating and repairing precision tools, dies, jigs and fixtures for the Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage packaging industry. Daily tasks include interpreting engineering drawings, building up and testing machine tools, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of finished products.

Qualifications

• Machining, Toolmaking, and Precision Engineering skills.
• Experience with interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of operating machine tools such as lathes, mills, and grinders, desirable but not essential.
• Ability to use measurement tools and instruments accurately.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills.
• Good communication and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work alone and within a team.
• Apprenticeship or vocational training in Toolmaking or related field.*
